My family:
I have been married to my wonderful husband for 30+ years. We live in beautiful northern CA on 20 acres on which we raise cattle and grow hay. We have three children, three grandchildren, and various chickens, cats and a dog.
My Work Experience:
My work experience has been split between two loves: Office Administration and Early Childhood Education.
I have worked in Office Administration for churches and in education for over 15 years. I have set up websites and social media sites, prepared and published reports and directories, organized the use of facilities, prepared dozens of PowerPoint slide shows, made travel arrangements, prepared meeting agendas and minutes, and met weekly publication deadlines.
I was involved in the establishment of New Day Academy Charter School from the ground up. From locating start-up funding to opening bank accounts and filing documents with state and local agencies, I worked with other leadership to make the school happen for our students and staff. I served served on the board of directors for 6 years and currently handle various administrative tasks from my home office.
Volunteer Work:
Like most involved moms, I have done everything from 4H to scouting. I've organized fund raisers, served as treasurer for various organizations, sewn pillowcases for our troops, and organized an "adoption" of a deployed Navy ship. I am the creator and administrator of a Christian fellowship group for moms of sailors in the U. S. Navy. I served 10 years in Awana, as a church librarian, bible study leader, and various other ministries.
Education:
I completed a Business Office Technology certification program through Cerro Coso Community College in 2013. In 2013 I also earned a Nonprofit Organizational Management Certificate through Shasta College.
Ethics:
My Christian faith is what guides me in my professional and personal life. Because I answer to God above man, I strive to be ethical, honest, and fair in all my dealings. As my client I will treat you with respect and deal with you honestly. I value confidentiality, and I will not discuss the details of your business with other clients, friends, or family. I will do the very best I can to represent you and your business in the best possible light.
